When yoga finds you, it never leaves you.
Compassion and care are important to me, as well as intimacy with your body and your feelings.
My classes are dynamic and technically focused — and equally warm, embodied, and alive. I care about your form, your breath, and your relationship with your body. I also care about how you feel when you leave.
In group classes, I weave the practice together with the moon phase and current astrological transits — so the time on the mat connects to something larger than the room.
I teach Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, and some Kundalini, as well as breathwork and meditation. Every class is tailored to who is in the room.
Yoga found me at twelve, in a Hatha class with my mother in Nairobi.
It found me again in my late twenties, during my Bikram years — daily practice, sometimes two classes in a row. After several years I found that approach too militant and moved into Vinyasa, then Ashtanga, deepening steadily as my health demanded it.
What has kept me returning to the mat — consistently, without question — is necessity. I live with arthritis in my hips, arms, and back, and have had two knee surgeries. Yoga makes that liveable. It grounds me, centres me in my body, and as someone who is highly intuitive, it helps me distinguish my own energy from everything else I absorb.
I hold a 200 RYT Ashtanga certification.

GROUP YOGA
For groups of five or more, in your own space. I teach Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, meditation and some Kundalini. Sessions are 80 minutes.
